BIOGRAPHY

“Life is a movie and everyone’s a star.” This is an adage Zoë Alexander holds close to her heart. A native of Southern California, Zoë Alexander began her career in her teens as a model and an actress.

She appeared in national commercials for companies including McDonald's and Planter's Peanuts and was a popular scream-queen with a large fan following thanks to starring roles in horror films "Little Witches" and "Nightmare Girl". She was also a popular sportswear catalog model and attended UCLA writing classes at night.

A few days after her twentieth birthday, she was hired to be a staff writer at Star Magazine. (The youngest ever!). She accepted the job as a lark and thought it would be a fun experience but  never thought it would turn into a successful journalism career.

A natural in the field, she later went on to be a  Editor at Large at Teen Magazine, Fashion Writer for New York Newsday, Columnist for The New York Daily News, Senior Reporter for Us Weekly Magazine and Editor at Large at Life and Style Magazine.  Throughout her years as a journalist she has covered the red-carpet of every major award show, New York Fashion Week and  has interviewed nearly every Hollywood notable. In addition to her fashion and entertainment expertise, Zoe has covered the biggest hard news stories of the century including the OJ Simpson trial, Versace Murder and the Michael Jackson trial.

Zoe added author to her resume when she was hired to write a fashion and beauty book with Tina Knowles (Beyonce's mom) about fashion and beauty. The book, Destiny's Style: Bootylicious Fashion and Beauty Tips from Destiny's Child

She  is currently an on-air style contributor for Fox's "Good Day New York" and can be seen regularly talking about celebrity style on E! and VH-1

She divides her time between Manhattan and Los Angeles and is working on a second book. She can be seen in the latest issue of Samdan Magazine in a fashion pictoral shot and interview in Turkey. (Spread will be posted on this website soon)
