It’s so funny how we can spend a fortune on sophisticated toys for our kids and the ones they like the best are usually the basic ones? I remember when Miles was a small baby he liked the boxes and wrapping paper better than the actual gifts that came inside! The best toys are the ones that allow kids to use their imaginations. Miles loves playing doctor. His favorite doctor sweater is this blue cable-knit sweater with a fur lined collar by Baby Gap. The glasses belong to Mr. Potato Head.

Today I fell in love with Rococo Nail Polish! I’ve been an OPI nail polish girl since I was a teen and today I was introduced to Rococo Nail Color which is sold exclusively at Space NK. Miles and I shaped up for summer at the Muscle Milk Fitness Retreat, which took place first in Beverly Hills and then at Venice Beach during the first couple of weeks of summer. Hollywood celebrities like Jaime Pressly, Kat Von D, and Brooke Mueller also attended the retreat. We had fun!  Some of the best local personal trainers offered a series of exciting workouts, everything from supermodel sculpting to circuit training to rock bottom body training.

I don’t usually bring Miles to exercise class with me but celebrity fitness expert LaReine Chabut taught a Mommy and Me class for moms and expectant moms so he got to attend his first exercise class with me.  It turns out, Miles loves to get his stretch on!

This weekend I headed to Disneyland with MILES and his dad for his 4th
birthday

This was Mile’s first ever trip to Disney and we had such a fun
time.We spent the weekend at the Disneyland Grand California and we were
both so excited! I remember my parents taking me on my first trip to Disneyland.
I was 5 years old and sporting my Pocahontas pigtails and the Pocahontas character came over and danced with me
during the Disneyland parade.
